Jon Roe is an independent award-winning journalist in Wichita, Kansas who has written numerous books and articles. Retiring from journalism after 40 years in the field in 1997, including reporting and editing posts for the Wichita Eagle (a Knight Ridder publication), commentator for KAKE-TV and reporter, commentator and news director of KWCH-TV. He now does freelance writing and paints.
